AUDITIONS 2024/25 SEASON
Calling all dancers 8 - 12! Audition to be a part of our performance Hip Hop crew this upcoming season. The crew rehearses at our Toronto location.
Deadline to audition: August 25, 2024
To audition dancers must:

be between 8 - 12 years of age. If your child is close to the age range, please contact us first at crew@citydancecorps.com

submit a 2 min video of themselves dancing to Hip Hop. This could be a performance or just freestyling at home.

submit a 1 min video introduction including their name, age, and why they love to dance

must be available for rehearsals on Thursdays, as well as willing to take an additional weekly Hip Hop class at our studio.

About the crew
Welcome to The Groove Crew at City Dance Corps! We empower young dancers aged 8- 12 through hip-hop and street style dance, fostering confidence, creativity, and community engagement. Our supportive environment emphasizes inclusivity, professional guidance, fun, and respect, helping dancers grow both artistically and personally.
At City Dance Corps Groove Crew, we nurture the creative potential of young dancers, instilling confidence and passion for hip-hop and street style dance. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive space for artistic and personal growth, while positively impacting our communities through performances and local event participation.
Dancers are accepted into the crew through video auditions and are required to dance 2.5 hours per week.
